Cracking stuff, car looks excellent and you'll be amazed at how much difference the weight loss and flywheel will make. I bet you'd decimate a standard V6 round a track :-)

Liking the bonnet pins, where did you buy and how much if you don't mind me asking.
We're having problems with the bonnet catch so were thinking of going for bonnet pins, locking ones of course.

There's an Official SE2 Owners Register, if you are looking for it click above and add the SE2's details to the register.

Thanks BAC, there is nice difference with the fly wheel all right. I only took it for a small spin on the private track.
But it was way more responsive. Thanks for the comment.

Are the 60mm springs fitted?

My rear is much lower than that on 40mm springs.

Thanks for finding out mate

Trying to figure out whether i have a prob with the clutch or an engine mount...

Pull away very slowly and carefully and she is grand, pull away like anybody else would and ya can feel the engine rocking, does the same if you back off in any gear, but gears 2 and 3 are more aggressive than gears 4 and 5.

I dunno if I had enough grease on the release bearing either... like its sticking you know....

so im just trying to figure out the possibilities. the mounts are all in nice and tight, as are the bolts from the block to the gearbox.... so i dunno... may be a rubber that needs packing with tigerseal or summat...

The only problem I had was that the pedal was very low down and very soft. My mate Marc adjusted it but still wasn't right, Turned out the pedal it self was very stiff so I pulled it up to right height while he adjusted it, Its perfect now.

I think I just creamed myself! Nice purchase Rob! Heat wrap it. Protect the shinyness for one thing, and I think it helps to reduce under bonnet temps too :)
