That looks totally awesome, as others have said, looks like the genuine Touring Car.  8)

Dont know how you've got on regarding wheel spacers, but I have a very similar kit to yours, and I got bolt on spacers (same type of thing a PCD convertors). I bought a set of 20mm from Germany off Ebay, then used that as a pattern for my bro (who handily is a pretty good engineer) to fabricate up some 52mm items from a billet of alli. Happily, they fill the arches nicely  :D

What is the 'effective' ET if you fit 52mm spacers?  ???  i.e. the distance between the face of the hub and the centreline of the tyre?  That could have a significant effect on handling - notably increase the tendency to 'tramline'.

TBH, I have no idea  ;D

Running the 20mmon the front, the 52mm on the rear, the visual effect is stunning-the only type of "fat arse" I appreciate  ;D

As for tramlining, or any kind of negative effect on the handling, nothing to report so far, it drives really nice and well mannered-maybe the Vauxhall negative scrub geometery is forgiving?

Well you know I said the end? It was only the beginning..... just kidding ;)

As part of my continuous improvement (read: piling even more cash into this sodding project), some new silicone pipes arrived a few days back...

And just incase you don't believe that I really do use the car every day...

Needs a clean :(

It does...

It was too cold to be messing about for too long and I had a leak on the top hose so just sorted it and got inside to warm up... :)

Will do the lower hose when I get a chance :)

I reckon it's a bit like building an elaborate train-set - the fun is in building it.  Watching the trains go endlessly round and round is boring by comparison.  ;D

As a matter of interest, I can't remember what engine it's got in it (and don't recognise it without its 'lid' on)?

Is it an original Calibra C25XE V6, or an Omega X30XE transplant, I don't think that it's a Z32SE?
