Cheers mate

Well I bought the wide arch kit but to be honest it looks really crap

See the way none of the sections like up properly? It also looks totally stuck-on, not like it's part of the body itself. It's more suitable for somebody wanting the whole chav look :)

i agree, smoothing in does make it look better.. seems like chavs made his mind up therefore mine looks like a chavvy P-O-S but never mind ;) id like to think as mines customised that it doesn't apply to what chav says but i know he will let me know otherwise :p

anyway enough about mine :)

Are you going to be painting between the rear lights?

Will you be putting the number on the roof too?

Honestly cant wait to see it finished plus with the bigger wheels should look the dogs danglies!

The problem I have with that kit is

1) It's poor quality
2) It's not the same style, shape or size as the touring car kit

Look at how the size of the touring car kit!

For me it's a case of "all or nothing". I'd sooner not have a go at all than fit some half-arsed kit that doesn't look anything like it :(

Nope, yellow vinyl between rear lights with the black/white race number, and a numberplate-sized "baumler" sticker. Then a motorbike rear numberplate mounted on the rear bumper somewhere! (doing all that now actually)

Yep, ordered those last week they should be on by the weekend

Thats fair enough, im along the lines of id rather get it as close as possible (without spending stupid money) and im a fan of the way the kit looks.

Looking forward to seeing it done though.

Should be cool to see them side by side at some point :)

I think the car actually looks quite good.

I have to say this sticker really lets it down. It looks like some chav just forgot there was a sunroof and slapped it on.

I think it would have looked loads better in the center of the sun roof, even if the sun roof doesn't work.

If you have to own a Calibra; make sure it's the 4x4 turbo. You dont want to fanny around with a FWD car.

It's in the correct position for the car. I could run a stanley blade down it if you like James?

That might be a good idea. Maybe someone could photoshop it and see the difference.

Apart from that, the car looks spot on.

I don't have the wide body... nobody makes a kit like that. On the actual ITC car it's not just wide wheels it's completely different chassis and suspension mountings

i really like the look of the rieger wide arch kit when fitted properly and with really deep dish wheels.

id love to carry out a similar build to chavtastic (with a bit less power) but go down the cliff replica route
