What have other people done for fogs with afterburners?

I have 2 sets of Afterburners. My fog and reverse are built in now.

Interfaces FTW :)

I should get round to finishing some off in the next week or so. If you want a set i'll do them for a reasonable price (£20 or so). Wiring is pretty straightforward (chock blocks) and all you need to do is change the bulbs. Clear bulb that glows red for fog is obviously a good idea. Will keep the lights looking symmetrical.

I think I have some original light connectors somewhere, so if yours haven't been butchered you can plug them straight into the standard wiring harness.

They work exactly like the ubercustoms ones. Except you can still get mine :D

Hows that?? Little rough in places as I don't have my graphics tablet to hand...

Looks a bit like a R33 Skyline there though I reckon.....

Oh wow, thanks that looks great, but the plan is to move the afterburners to the SE2, and do similar to what you've done on the yellow one.

Karma anyway.

Did remind me of a skyline as well!

Yeah that's great. It looks like someone's been doing a custom wire jobbie, have you got photo's of your rear ones? (inside what the wiring blocks are like?)

And yes will take them off you if you can post?

Ta =D

Yeah posting isn't a problem.

The interfaces are just a plastic box with the wiring, resistors, rectifier diodes etc inside, soldered up and sealed in heatshrink tubing. Chock blocks come out either side of the plastic box, then you connect the wiring from the lights to one side and the wiring from the car to the other. You can leave them hanging inside where the rear lights sit or use something such as double-sided tape to stick them to the light casings themselves.

What exactly did you want pics of? I'm a little unsure.

I meant photo's for how the fogs etc work on your car, to get an idea of how tidy it'll be, just a photo to show the other half really.

Sure no problem. I'll try to get them rewired and plugged into the car loom so you can see. I have two sets, one still has red bulbs (for brake lights), the other set has all clear bulbs so i'll show you that one if I can.

They're even painted Solar Yellow at the minute lol

Ok here's a pic of the rear of the lights, to show you how big the interface box is.

Depending on how long your wiring is on the Afterburners, you can either stick the box to the rear of the clusters between the lights, similar to where it is in the pic, or tuck it out of the way. There is a wiring block fitted in the pic so I could plug it straight into the cars wiring loom. The blue wire is for the fog light. As that light only has a reverse and no fog, the wire can be cut off. The reverse is cut off on the other side.

When the flap covers in the boot are in place, you won't see the box anyway so from the inside of the boot they will look no different.

I'll take a video shortly of them plugged in and working in the car.

The orange boxes contain the wiring. They are ubercustoms boxes but I replaced the wiring with my wiring as I haven't cut my boxes open yet. They are the same size, only grey.
