That was me and its the same car :)

Thanks Robbie. So it is the same car then.

How can anyone think that those modifications look in any way an improvement over the standard car lol? I've seen 'pimp my ride', this is more like 'fcuk up my ride'

Sometimes they seem past the point of being salvaged :-\

Anyone who does that to their car isn't likely to have looked after the mechanicals are they.

I PM'd the seller a couple of days ago, and he said he was waiting on a phone call from a possible buyer, and if they didn't buy it, he was going to scrap it.

What a total waste of a rare car!

I should be careful what I say as he's been reading this thread and isn't happy about us airing our opinions. I really don't understand the guy, I made him an offer and bearing in mind he has no one else interested would still rather scrap it. And then get shitty with me because the offer wasn't enough, lol.

He can do whatever mods he wants. His choice. Personally I think it's a waste.

But to scrap it for a lot less than any offer he could get is ridiculous.

Used to happen sometimes, (not so much now) that a car could be sat around for ages before being registered. Could even be an import.

You don't need to be a member to read this thread, if that's what you mean. So he may not necessarily have signed up.

I'm glad he's reading this, just a shame that some people are too mentally tunnel visioned to realise that we actually make sense & that he has taken a perfectly good car & ruined it.

If that had remained standard or been fitted with a decent kit, he'd have had bids on it & could well have made more than the £600 he seemed to want.

Some of the forum areas you have to be a member (the for sale and wanted sections spring to mind), but not this one. If you log out, and then go into the forums, you'll see you can still access this thread ;)
