Rising Calibra Values?
« on: November 20, 2015, 14:21:12 PM »
I see that the Morris Leslie Classic Car Auction tomorrow features a V6 Puma - a somewhat inferior car to the V6 Calibra. It is a low mileage example and is expected to make £2.5 - £3.5k. I will watch with interest to see what it makes as I would expect a similar Callie to be worth more and as we know Callies are seriously under valued. Although Capris make fairly serious money these days I would not expect the DNA to rub off onto a Puma!

Capri is a classic! Calibra and Puma are not! Puma, LOL what a crock of f*ckery they were!

Pumas actually handle about 17 times better than a Calibra lol. Really good chassis on them, just a shame they were underpowered.

i hope they are going up in value, lol, i need as much for mine as posible when i sell it.
are we talking about the convertable capri's?? lol, ive owned 2 of them, a barchetta and a clubsprint turbo, bought the barchetta with my insurance payout from my calibra 18yrs ago, it was a sh*t car, only had it 2 months then traded it on the clubsprint, that was an animal, i put on a bigger exhaust, bigger front mount intercooler with a sprayer kit that was activated at 12psi  (i disconnected the boost cut solinoid and wired it up to that, lol), custom cold air box, and ran 15psi, every1 around my town called it the barbie car, but i used to kick their asses in a drag, lol
i did also own a v6gt capri for around 3 weeks, i bought it to help a mate out who needed money quickly, i then got offered nearly twice as much as i paid for it and took it, lol, little did i know that the car was worth nearly twice wat i sold it for :( , and if i had kept it til now, nearly 10 times wat i paid for it!!

I was given wrong info - it was actually a Mk II Probe - a Cougar. Made a strong £2800...
