Perforance air filter

Hi does anyone know how to fit a petforance air filter. When i take my orginal air box out its a square hole where the mass air flow is. But all the filters ive seen are circle. How do u get it to fit a square hole
 As anyone had this problem if so how do u get it to fitm

You can get performance replacements that are same size and shape. The oval ones require a complete switch from the old filter box. That's not impossible but depending on model it's not desirable to have the engine breathing warm air from the engine bay as it reduces performance. If you're going to completely replace the air box I'd go for something that sucks cold air from outside engine bay e.g. K&n apollo https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301071937823

TBH though, replacement panel is good enough with original air box.
