Thats shocking.

I can understand somebody going into the back of a parked car... but not four.

If he wasn't drunk then he must have been very, very tired (perhaps worked a regular 9-5 job as well as waking up early for that)

Im happy for you that he was insured though, Otherwise it could have been a hell of alot worse.

Mechancially you'd probably get away with a new wheel and stub axle. Body wise it'd be needing a beating and a skim of filler. But yes, beyond economical repair (in the insurers eyes) without a doubt

We've spoken to our insurers and the nice man said that another nice man from Nationwide Crash Repair Services will come and collect our car tomorrow and take it to be repaired so no worries about it being written off!! :D :D
Back in the real world I will definately look to buy it back and once I know what the score is repair it or break it* (*sorry Diva :()

And we were only at TRAX with her last week.................... ........................ ........................ .. :'(

I'm so gutted it's untrue. I hope we can get her fixed up. I've had that car over 4 years.

It will be interesting to see how much interest the police show, when I got rear-ended in the focus, they were not at all interested as there was no-one hurt, and no claims of dangerous driving etc. so they didnt really want to know.

I assume no-one was hurt this morning? but it is obvious to anyone with an ounce of sense that this guy was speeding and considerably so I would suggest.

Thats ridiculous, I would have lamped the guy if he cleaned the side of my Calibra like that!

If you need any help with the new parts Trig I would be more than happy to source them etc. A new rear wishbone (possibly subframe) and a wheel. Then some bodywork etc.

It might be no consolation to you but in your Project thread you said you wanted a respray :)

That's crazy!!!!!!!!

I personally would of assumed he was out on the piss sat night into sunday morning and was driving home pissed. For him to be sober well im lost forwords on all that damage.

I would of prob gone mental and would of had to do what you did and disappear in a corner and chill!!

Being it was his fault the damage should be fixed under his insurance no matter what the cost so that's good at least.

You're a clever guy Trig and you know the c*nt wasn't doing 30mph on a blow out but either way the cally is a f*cking mess.
If you are bitter enough to fancy some retribution (I would completely understand!), just keep an eye out to see if this guy continues to use your route to deliver papers and me and some of the lads on here will beat the living f*ck out of him for you.

Can't see pics on mob site but what a crap thing to happen. Now I know it doesn't help but you'll get a lil from insurane and there are plenty of folk on here to help, it'll be fine and dandy in no time. I was pissed off when an un known hit the front of mine, dread to think how you feel, think I'd of been done for assault tbh! Chin up!
