Mtec Rear Discs
« on: October 06, 2017, 19:37:06 PM »
Hello
Another MOT for my wifes Cali (1997 P 2.5 V6)
Need to replace rear discs and have been looking around the mine field and came across Mtec. i have seen some old links on here but has anyone got any recent experience with them.. Or are there any other resonably priced ones out there. Used as a day to day car ,no track work. (although my wife does have a heavy foot)  Any suggestions ? Cheers

Just get OE ones. I used to run M Tec all round, looked good but that's about it! :D

Thanks for that. Tried Autovaux , out of stock. I put a OE set on from a factors about 3 years/20k ago and they have grooved quite badly and rusted badly, from memory i think they were boxed as Mintex.  Have ordered the Mtec set today -  . Cheers

Hi Guys. F.Y.I I ordered a set of Mtec discs and was told 48hrs and i would have them.......   72 hours later, no discs, so i phoned them and they told me they where 'in manufacture'. OK i said, when do you expect them ? Dont know, was there reply.  Very rude customer service ,female called Clair (apparenly there are 2 Clairs, although they sound the same) So cancelled order and got a refund. Have now ordered OE set from local factors. Thanks for the help. I have another querie that i will open another link for ref proportioning valves.
