Think Barrier Passes are the best solution mate, also not responsible for lost possessions and keys and stuff.
Also could plan a Saturday afternoon drive out to here, http://onyourmarquesmodelcarcollection.vpweb.co.uk/default.html seeing as we are car nuts. Also nice coastal drive can be added from that, very thin, lots of bends and high embankments. Excellent cruise tho' speed is defo not the essence on it as like stated a lot of the bends are totally blind.

Is it worth thinking about collecting for and investing in a ClubCalibra marquee?
Means it won't be quite so mizzo if it p***es it down

We have got a 6x3m job mentioned on another thread, ratchet straps on the poles etc it wouldn't go anywhere, only trouble is transporting the thing, it takes up all of my car bar the passenger seat ;D

Lol sounds like the one I got, filled the full boot but by the time the wind did its damage we lost a full section to bent poles but the sections we put back up lasted the weekend out as we pegged it to within an inch of its life :D

Is it worth considering hiring one to be erected on site as an alternative?

Can't you ask the recovery driver to stow it in his cab? ;)

I was thinking maybe the prices might be seasonal therefore lower in the 'off' season?
I might do some digging around for local marquee hire in the Mabo area and see what they come up with
