Title: ECU location in the car

Hello.

Iam new in this site.

I own a Calibra ´94 2.0 16.v redtop C20XE

Can someone tell me where is te ECU in the car? Is in the driver side or passenger side or in the engine?

Sorry for my English. I live in Argentina. I am very lucky to have this car. Is amaizing!

I want to by on EBAY a Chip to install in the ECU.

Hi

The E.C.U on my car is on drivers side behind a removable panel in the foot well.  When you remove the panel you will find it high up near the underside of the dashboard.

As Turbohead said, It’s in the footwell behind the panel. For left hand drive cars it’s on the passenger side, right hand drive cars it’s on the drivers side.

Thanks. I have the wheell in the left side, so, is in the passenger side. Left or right? in the right side there is a box to put de service page of oil change and other stuff...

Hi

I hope you were able to locate the ECU ok........if you need more advice on how to remove the ECU or how to remove the cover for access to the circuit board just get back to Cc. For more help.

On the right hand side, same side the passenger door is on behind the footwell kickpanel.
