Dreaded MOT result......
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:14:53 AM »
after  about 15 months of hard graft, a mountain of money, countless journeys up and down the country and endless hours of research the calibra finally went for MOT.  Test was at 7.25pm and i started on it at 10am and it took to then to get all the last minute things done that the mechanic never bothered his hole to do.

Even gettin to an mot wash was down to the wire, i landed just as they were taking there signs off the street, had to beg for it then had no caash to pay so had to leave my passport so i'd come back with the ?12 lol.

Anyways, give it a good thrashing into the town, 10miles of b road blasting to clear out the cob webs for emissions  and my god, it was so fun it was scary.  When i arrived at the centre before they even started the tests two of the mot staff came up asking was it a dtm v6 tourer, i told them the craic with the car and all the wee mods and two of them asked if they could take it for a drive after, so not wanting to piss them off before the test i agreed.

LOL they hurryied the car though the full test in about 10 minutes then i let them take it in turn for a spin around the yard.  They loved it.

Long story short................... ........................ ......

i got a pass.  :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Well done mate glad to hear your back on the road
"Fight and you may die. Run and you will live at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take our Calibra's!"
