Want to purchase a decent V6 automatic or a 4x4 turboI
« on: August 17, 2016, 20:52:35 PM »
Hi guys ;i owned a CalibraV6 until a few months ago ,but eventually it succumbed to rust ,and too unecessarily costly for someone like me to realistically hav done. At present i am looking for a good sound condition calibra V6 automatic -a completely standard late model ,not specifically an SE9. Or a late 4x4 turbo if any decent ones still exist.
The "for sale"adverts on here remain on for so long ,you dont know whether the specific car is still for sale.
I am a cash customer ,and at present hav a VXR8 which is for sale ;it's a decent car but lacks the character of a coupe.
It's difficult to get guys to work on them :even Pentagon ,Sheffield, referred me to the depot at Derby which is an hour's drive
I imagine you would hav the same problems with a Monaro.
We need a specialist depot creating for calibras ,like Monkfish Performance exists for maintaining VXR8 models
It's only by actually having these other cars in reality that you understand what you really want ;price does eventually become redundant ;you hav to reach a certain age to understand this.
Bear me in mind if you hav a decent unit to sell. Thanks.
