people comment o your car being nice!
Its suprising how often it happens - especially with an older car.
Two oldish (She said they were about 50) told my girlfriend today that she drove a flash nice car!! 8)

I cant think of another car that you can buy under a thousand quid that attracts as much attention as the calibra does! Its amazing how many people look as you drive by! Even people driving cars worth 20 times as much look! My hat goes off to Vauxhall for making such an awsome looking coupe!

I was at the car wash the other day, spoilt brat behind me had a brand new 3series coupe, heard these youngs shouting "look at that yoke" i happened to be looking the brats way as he turned to his admiring public only to see they were looking at the Cali. The look on his face ... priceless

Yeah i love it, and sort of never really expected it either.  I bought the car just because i liked the shape and the engines are (reasonably) simple to work with, has lots of stuff you can add to it if you want to.  I would be bored senseless with a really new modern car i couldnt really tinker with and never went wrong.

Mint story Hi-ace, I know what you mean.

You find a lot of people that used to own them years ago still admire and miss them.

Yoke would be Irish slang for anything not living, cars, microwave, telly or a really rough looking woman.
