A couple more 'stray' wires

Hey everyone. been busy with the car today. noticed i have a couple differences between looms, i guess it is to be expected. Just wondering if anyone can identify what these are for.

This plug is on the 16V ECU loom and plugs in in amoungst the fuse box and diagnostic plug, I don't have this plug on the V6 loom.


These 3 buggers are on the V6 loom, the part that comes through to the cabin, but there is nowhere for them.


Other than these everything seems to have a place. Oh on the V6 loom the fuel relay is a big black relay, but on the 16V there is 2 purple ones?? is that normal?

They all plug ' n ' play mate. The Ecotec Purple relays will come out with the loom. The black V6 one will replace them. Top plug almost looks like the fan plug.

So you're saying that top one plugs in somewhere near the n/s strut top? If so it looks like it could be the lambda sensor plug, or have you found/sorted that?

As for the bottom three - the black plug should have a blue/red wire which is your switched live for the fuel pump relay. The other two should also plug in in the same area. You definitely have female plugs for those on all Calibra car looms

Thats to small for the lambda sensor looks more like the plug for the alternator cooling fan.

That green plug is just dangling from my bulkhead, i thought it was some diagnostic plug or summit. It hangs from the near side bulkhead just next to the fusebox

Chav.. the 3 plugs are not what you describe, because there is another 3 that are the ones you say.

I hope it's not the altenator cooling fan plug.. i kinda need that.

Weird that its on the 16v engine loom but not the V6 one.

It won't be that then because non-V6 alternators don't have electric fans
