Im on ebay getting replacement lamps as one of mine has blown but there is 35w and 55w hid lamps.

My question is can i fit 55w lamps in mine or does it depend on the ballast i have? Im not sure what the current ones are so they could be 35w

I would imagine it depends on ballast, 55w in a 35w ballast ain't gonna be as bright as it should be I wouldn't of thought.

Does it not say on your ballast what they are?

I didn't think the ballasts were rated in watts but im not sure, if you fit higher wattage normal headlights they are brighter so though 55w hid's would just be brighter than 35w hid's in the same ballast

I think they are as I ordered a 35w ballast when mine packed up not so long back and borrowed a 55w one to double check it was the ballast that was fucked, so a 35w bulb in 55w ballast works, not sure about the other way round though.... well it would work but as I say maybe not as bright as they could be......
