Hi , If its from the tank you will have to drop the tank to get to the outlets, flow and return. These are rubber hoses that run down to the  fuel pump, filter, or if its an intank pump via the filter to metal pipes that run over the rear sub frame. From the end of these metal pipes it goes to rubber again to under the floor pan where again there are connected to metal piping to the front of the vehicle. The metal pipes are held by plastic clips screwed to the underside, tip, use a wide blade screw driver to undo them because the screw slot is not deep and ounce they slip are a pain to get off.
The metel pipe is about 8mm os dia so get rubber hose with about 6mm inside dia.It takes about a day to do the whole lot .Hope this helps.

From what the garage said ,the metal pipe has corroded and is leaking ,so when I turn the key it's squirting petrol ,can I just cut out the old pipe and replace it with a rubber one, leaving enough metal pipe to attach the rubber one too with jubilee clips ? Thanks again

As long as you can safely fix the rubber hose to the car then this would be fine. I had the same problem on my car not long ago and the leak was just in front of where the rubber hoses went on, so i just pushed some new longer ones over that area and used 2 jubilee clips. Problem sorted.  :)
