Title: Error code 48
Post by: Hotspur1974 on April 02, 2016, 20:35:24 PM
Hi guys, after some advise.
I have an error code 48 (low voltage) on my se6 (8V), replaced the coil and battery any ideas what it could be ?.
The revs are all over the place, but shows a management light.
Will a krypton tune fix the issue. Thanks

48 is low voltage at ECU - it at least thinks that the supply voltage is low. Have you checked the battery and alternator operation? 12+v when not running and around 14+v when running/charging? If that's ok then check same at ECU to rule out wiring fault.
