I got my Elan re-trimmed for £700. That included  seats , door card inserts , handbrake & gear lever gaiters & handbrake handle . The trimmer was fussy about the leather quality (in any colour ...I chose purple ) & did a very good job . The car was at Billing ...Alz even drove it (gently).

Right. Appointment made. He'll be working his magic in mid-February.

I'll get some "After" pictures up once the works done.

If his work is excellent, I'll ask if he can offer some sort of club discount. There must be a fortunes worth of Calibra bolster repairs out there.

Me too!

I've seen some photos of this guys previous work and it looks the business so I'm really hoping I'm not disappointed.

If it's rubbish, I'll be angry........and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry........

Actually, most people don't like me when I'm NOT angry so it's not that big a deal.

100 quid. That included some work on the drivers door card which had 3 scratches and a 2 inch circular graze on it.

Don't have a "before" for that but he did a fantastic job on that -

I am fussy, if I'm paying for a service it has to be spot on, 10 quid or 100 quid, it doesn't matter :)

Considering the state of the bolster in the first place, that's about the best you could expect before re-covering the entire seat!

Fussy. :P
