Guys I have recently adapted my rear number plate lights to LED ones. Using the existing wiring and closure.
I can now source these for a small fee delivered if anyone is interested. Also have LED door handle lighting that works with the interior light. So if u have an alarm and unlock the car the interior light should come on and then open the door. When u close it, it goes off so the led on the door handle will copy that.
The Number plate conversion is £15
And the door handle LEDs are £10 with diagrams and sufficient wiring.
