What's your latest progress news?
« on: January 19, 2016, 11:09:11 AM »
Hey everyone.
Keep us updated with your latest progress or plans. Maybe we can help each other find parts within Aus etc. But be great to help motivate Each other to keep loving and maintaining these beautiful machines.

This sub forum for just us Aussies isn't very live but I thought I'd get us started with a thread, keeping each other posted with current progress.

For my red calibra it'll be new spark plugs and leads. (leads bought, just the plugs to go)
She also just got a new air filter last night:

And soon, will be putting the pollen filter bracket from the white cali into the red cali that never came with a pollen filter.

In February, the 110,000km X20XEV manual from my first Calibra my white 95 will be going into my auto blue Calibra with a manual swap. Wish me luck! Will have some help from friends ofcourse!

Last thing I've done to mine was new fuel filter because I found it to be the cause of it stalling under higher RPM's and also I removed the resonator box for better airflow.

Oh and one thing I almost forgot about, I got a new trip computer and outside temperature sensor and wired it up, all working good except the fuel consumption's out because it's from a V6, planning on fixing it with a resistor and paperclip soon.

Can't wait to see the progress on the engine swap man, gonna be sweet!

Great work man,
Been meaning to chuck a new fuel filter into mine too, it's good servicing old cars like these

I have that same issue with my trip computer but I find with half tank or less the fuel consumption is pretty accurate.

For me, I have recently chucked on my old Gram Lights.

And replaced the broken spring in the drivers side door handle. Feels way better now :)

And touched up the paint on my handle :)

Both engines are out. Hoping go have time in the next fortnight to get more work done

well, it seems like ages since i was on here last time, i should post more pics in my build thread soon, ive got it all painted, and nearly all buffed out, if i can get another full day to spend, it should be ready for the exhaust place to do their thing and then get it inspected for rego!!
my brakes are still playing up, sama, might have to buy the abs block thing thats in the engine bay if you still have it for sale??
other than that, it shuld be on the rd in the next month, hopefully, work has been crazy, kids are doing basketball, swimming, choir and tap dancing, on top of all that weve just started our new business so time is very scarce!!
