Is this going  to be badged as a calibra? or is it called something els and people are just going to call it a calibra?

Shame it bares NO resemblance to the original :-\

Would be interesting seeing the first new calibra owner sign up, can't see the tech threads all being about ICV's and CTS's.

the car looks clunky and over weight.

you would think they would have kept a few of the lines of the car, it just looks nothing like it. i really dont think this is going to be the new calibra! with astras you can see the changes take place through the models.

it just has no curves to it, and the lights are fitted to high and to deep into the wings.

also on the first and second photo it looks like someone has photoshoped those wheels on, and the top photo looks like a pug.

I HATE IT!

The first two pictures are of the New Astra Coupe, which is meant to be released towards the end of next year. The Insignia Coupe is also due for release, and its this car which is supposedly going to be badged as the Calibra. At least thats what the bods at Luton said a fortnight ago, I reckon I could get a decent discount on one  8)

There was an article in Auto Express around this time last year stating the rumour of a new Calibra, at that time it was rumoured that the new Astra Coupe was going to carry the Calibra name and keep it as an affordable car, the pics back then beared more of a resemblance to the original model.

Now were talking. I never seen this pic before but that is one stunning looking car. And you can see that it's a calibra. If this was the new calibra I'd have one in the drive in the morning
