Hey guys,

Please welcome our latest moderator, Ruffday (also known as Craig) - he's very kindly producing our stickers for us, we hope have these publically available soon, he'll also be researching other merchandising ideas such as Tax Disc Holders, Sunstrips and other bits and bobs.

In the meantime, be gentle and provide him with a warm welcome!

I understand moderator in a context such as an examination moderator, so what does a web site moderator do exactly, I am pretty much new to the whole internet thing, do all replies/posts have to go through a moderator before they are posted on the site?

Basically, oversee the general day to day behaviour of members using the site, moving badly placed threads, correcting typos that we spot (fairly commonly...) and suggesting ways in which to move the site forward!

Moderators also have private forums to discuss issues, troublesome members and the setting/lifting of bans.

Its all fun here in Moderator land!
