Hey Ash, I had a look at the "We Buy Any Car" link and they offered me a whopping £135 for my Cally!

The nice thing about the links shown is that they're all relevant to the subject of the page, unlike on most websites where they're totally irrelevant.

Well i was think of calendars or seatbelt pads with .com logo and key rings.caps/hats and show numberplates.t shirts jakets all wit .com on them if the club sell them it will make money to keep this great club goin. how about it? bad idea or good

Please read below, caught this on another forum and thought you lot might want to know.

"You may have seen in the press that from 1st November 2008 it will become an offence to sell or manufacture registration plates that do not conform to the latest British Standards and design criteria laid down by the DVLA. Consequently the ability to purchase Showplates displaying non-legal fonts/spacing/images/slogans etc will be outlawed.

While it is already an offence across the UK for motorists to display non-compliant number plates on their vehicles, as of 1st November 2008 it will become an offence to supply number plates that do not comply with the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001. Some number plate suppliers already advise their customers that non-compliant number plates cannot be used on the road and are for display purposes only, however, it will now be an offence to supply non-compliant number plates irrespective of any advice given."

Thanks ok a didnt mean numberplate for the road i mean the numberplates u put on when your parked up at a show like totalvauxhall put on when they take pics for the mag.dnt no if thats in with this new law or not?

yes mate, you won't be able to buy them anymore. It will be an offence for anyone to sell them even if the intent was for show use only.
