Hey Trig, sorry mate...whoops, think its because its under your other half's name on my list hehe!!

Didn't hit the target, due to sponsors letting me down or not responding (exception of one, whom had legitimate reasons due to job issues)  was £150 down :( ended up raising only just over £700 - not bad though I guess - Cancer Research UK appeared to be happy, although weren't happy that I'd done it via a Freefall as they class it as a dangerous activity!! hehe

Im surprised the charity cares what you did to raise the money ?!! You wont get as many sponsors nor as much money if you was doing a sponsored biscuit eating competion rather than a jump.

Well done anyway Ash.

Dont do anymore charity events until after xmas, i'm skint now ;D

LOL, I too was surprised, they won't associate themselves with any dangerous activity, they class Freefall as dangerous, EVEN after I did it and survived LOL!!! Ridiculous!

well i could understand if you raised money by beating up children but a jump ?! ::)

Bollocks to what the charity says, at the end of the day you done a good thing for a good cause.

Deserves respect in my books not bitching ;)

You might have been doing the jump for the thrill anyway.  The fact that you raised some funds for Cancer Research at the same time is up to you.  I guess the problem is that, in this litigious age the charity has to cover itself by not being seen to encourage people to participate in dangerous sports.  Otherwise, no doubt some clown, who injured themselves while jumping (or rather on landing!), might sue the charity for encouraging them to do a jump to raise money for them!   >:(
