I'm increasing the memory allocation upon each error I get - we're currently running at 419mb Ram, costing me £30 per month. Please be patient guys, we're getting there...
don't go out of pocket just because some members are complaining about speed....what setup did you have a few months ago because it was fine then so why cant the same setup work now?
Just keep clicking those banners!!
Keep clicking those banners to help me pay for the frickin server!!
Though it's a chore, generally click on the banners at least twice a day to do my bit but some of them are french and I have no bloody idea what they are advertising!
The one on this thread is for " 5 tips for a flat stomach", are you trying to say i'm fat Ash lol!Seriously tho mate, its no hardship to have a peak once in a while and like you say, they are mainly relevant to the thread topic so its all good
The one at the bottom as I type this is for Halifax with the line "a little extra help". There a few people on this site that could do with that offerAs for the site, pages are loading almost instantly here so it's all good.
Things should really be flying tonight, I have made an adjustment to the way in which the forum renders Avatars, previously each avatar shown consisted of a number of Database queries - no more! Now they're loaded on the fly without any DB interaction. In addition, I have up'd the number of posts/topics shown per page - the less you're clicking/paginating, the less load on the server - in a sense, more is less....or something like that!Hopefully you'll notice the speed increase.Cheers, @sh & Moderation Teamhttp://www.ClubCalibra.com
Im not no great computer expert but Im finding it easier to use, especially when I use mobile broadband. Nice one
In general the site is vastly improved but intermittently i'm finding the site very slow sometimes. it literally can be brilliant one mintue and horrendous the next??As I said tho, it is a vast improvement so don't take this comment as a moan
