well im gonna try this 18 inch alloys ive seen on the motor 2mo. see how it fits http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1189247.htm

my car is lowered and it'll be a tight fit thats for sure. but the 17s on there are fine no scrubbin at all, and there is a small bit of space so i'm hopin we be alrite lol. trial and error system. can't beat it

If the 17"s don't 'scrub' at all, there's no reason why the 18"s should - if you use the correct profile tyres for the wheel diameter.  It's a popular misconception that larger rims necessarily mean larger tyres - it doesn't!
