Colour is 'BLACK'.  Jet black solid colour, so should be dead easy for you to touch up.

hiya......i just bought a cali and the colour is meant to be 'champagne' but its not on your list ...ty

My last one was Champagne too, yonks ago I found a Vauxhall - Opel colour chart and Champagne is on it:
489/68L: Champagne Met (96-)

The whole chart is massive but isn't exclusive to Calibra.

Also gets confusing when colours are renamed, like Flame Red which I am almost certain started life as Magma Red!

80L is definitely Jet Black, I know as I had an LE.

The other one must be diamond black (which is more a charcoal / dark grey in most lights)

Hi mates,

Nice topic.
Can anyone please tell me what colour is that? (I guess all these Calibras are the same colour)

It would be very interesting if under each color name we had a match picture of a Calibra.

Cheers

Not actually. It would be true if I intended to do it all at once.

But it´s already a 4 years project. Since 2003, when I started, and bit by bit a lot has been done, and now, there´s too little to accomplish that ...

That´s why I´m so curious about it´s real colour. So, if anyone confirm the real name, I´d be gratefull.

No doubt it was an amazin machine.

In Europe parts are too expesive. The only thing i bought there was the suspension. And I only did it because there was no similar in US or here, in Brazil.

Moreover, I´m running a c20Xe with a turbo-kit. It´s cheeper to spice-up a 4 cil. than a 6 cil.

Most of the performance parts are from US (pistons, rod, ignition, turbo, brakes) and the turbo-kit was fully handmade here.

Conclusion: I spent only 1/3 of his budget so far.

Cheers
