The purple colour is called North Cape, the same as mine and Ben's

Yes,it is definatly called Rioja Red,as i got a touch up kit from the local Vauxhall dealers,as it was the only place that had heard of the colour,which is a mica pearl metallic

Rioja Red is on paint code 568 and 69L and was used between 1992 and 1996. The paint is a pearlescent and not a metallic (no aluminium is used when mixing this colour). As it is not a particularly popular colour, that is why most people haven't heard of it.

Thanks for that,call me biased but i like the colour,and have yet to see another one in this colour,so it could be a bit of a rarity these days,it makes a change from black,white or red!,seriously though,has anyone else in the club got an SE3 ?

Is that the really dark, deep red? Not seen it often, like it, but don't think it's the best suited to the calibra of the colours it came in.

Where is can i find the actual colour of my cally? is there somewhere where the codes written?

The stupid log book says silver but theres more to it than that.....its a buit different to the ones i have seen before and photos dont really do it justice or show it up the way it is.

Hi, have a look at your slam panel under the bonnet, it will show you your paint code then you can look at the list at the start of this thread and see what colour it is

same as mine that! il post pics when its back from the garage, say's red on the v5, so wether it was resprayed in that colour, does make a change to red and green though.
